Tennessee gives a whole new meaning to the term "Pumpkin Patch"!
Two Falls in a row we have now visited a Tennessee pumpkin patch. They have both been amazing and so much fun. I (and the kids too) have enjoyed them so much that I am thinking about making Columbus Day weekend our annual "visit a Tennessee pumpkin patch" weekend every year! We could have stayed at Honeysuckle Hill most of the day. However, we didn't come to Nashville this weekend for the pumpkin patch...it was just a perk. We came for Tyler and Emily's wedding and decided to throw in a morning trip to Honeysuckle Hill. We actually got there prior to opening...
I was actually aiming for the sign but realized that I also got Nate's backside!
While we waited for them to open we played on the tractors out front.
Then we covered as much ground, literally, as we could before we needed to leave.
Two and half hours and we still didn't get it all.
This is the popcorn popper...
It's basically like a bounce house without the walls.
But when Daddy jumps too...you can hardly stay on your feet at all...you go all the way
DOWN! Again and again and again!
You better believe Liam had his share of air time!
Nolan tried to get off after one wipe out, but Daddy blocked the way.
Air time...again...
...and again
They seriously could hardly stay up...especially after a booty drop by Daddy!
I'm not sure who had the most fun on this attraction?
Nolan finally warmed back up to the jumping.
Now that is a sight! Jumping with Daddy....
...can only end one way!
Daddy may have dominated the popcorn popper, but he was way too big for these!
HK, on the other hand, dominated them! She made these things roll so fast and wouldn't even use her hands!
Nolan did a pretty good job too.
Ahhhh....the beloved cow train.
There was no way I was trusting Liam on this thing alone.
Lucky Daddy crammed into 'Ole Daisy the cow.
A four-wheeler pulled them around the grounds. They LOVED it!
We got to feed the animals!
The boys both loved the goat licking the food from their hand!
HK....not so much!
After riding the cow, they all tried to milk a cow. This was pretty entertaining!
Nolan is just not quite sure how this is suppose to work.
HK is getting disgusted I believe.
Ahhh...just forget it!
Liam met a friend in the corn box. They threw corn back and forth at each other.
HK wanted to be buried....
...and well Nolan, he just couldn't take it anymore!
We found corn the rest of the weekend...in places there shouldn't be corn!
A little pumpkin climbing
...before heading down to the pumpkin patch to pick our own pumpkin.
Liam got mad because he was having trouble getting through the patch. So he stopped and just cried until Mother HK rescued him.
HK was excited with her find until
Nolan found a green pumpkin. Somehow in her illogical female mind that managed to make him more special. Has someone not created a fast forward button for the irrational moments of a female????
Somebody is looking tired!!!
After we ran out of time, we got back to the hotel for naps. Then off to the wedding we went.
Between keeping the kids out of the lake next to the wedding and reception site and dancing, my camera never managed to leave my bag all evening. With that said it was a beautiful, in many ways, wedding. The reception was a fantastic time. My kids literally danced the night away. Check out facebook for pics from the wedding.

Now that we have recovered from weekend one of October, we are gearing up for weekends 2, 3, and 4. This month is jam packed with some great things!!!!
