Liam @ 3 Months!

Liam turned 3 months old last week on the 20th. Amidst all of the Christmas baking and fun times I forgot to make my little 3 month old sign and snap a few.
So instead I let Sarah snap a few of Liam as well!

So here is my little rolly polly 3 month old!

It's amazing we are already here. With each child it just seems to get faster and faster. He is sleeping about 8 hrs at night right now. I feed him at 8:30 and he sleeps until about 4:30 sometimes 5:30. Both of his siblings were sleeping until 7 am by now so I am trying to be patient with him. He does have a good little daytime routine going on. He takes about a 1 - 1 1/2 morning nap and usually a 2 1/2 to 3 hour afternoon nap with a little half hour evening cat nap. He is in such a good humour! He is Mr Chill! If he cries I can usually fix it with a nap, diaper change, or feeding him.

Oh My Liam...we are 1/4 of the way through your first year! You are such a sweet and handsome little fellow! I love to snuggle you! You also rolled over this past Sunday but I guess I will save the juicy details for next month's post.
Before we know it...you will be trying rice cereal!

The Lights Parade

For several years now they have had a Christmas Lights Parade in Harrisburg. HK has gone the last three years with Nana and Grampy. This was the first year Nolan and I went. Nate was sick that day. So Nana volunteered to stay home and snuggle with Liam. Grampy went with the kids and I. It actually was not too cold.

We spread our blankets out on the grass and had a nice curb side seat.

This was the Ferrell Hospital float. It was Charlie Brown and gang. It was super cute! By far it was my favorite!

We were not prepared for the amount of candy passed out. We didn't bring anything to hold it! I loved that they actually came up to you and passed it out. It was so relaxing. I didn't have to worry about the kids running out in the street to try and get the candy. I think throwing candy in parades should not be allowed.

This big bottle of nail polish was pretty cute too!

Hopefully next year all five of us will be able to go to the lights parade with Nana & Grampy!

I think these two enjoyed themselves all warm and snuggly at home!

Moms Night In

Earlier in the month, Tiffany and Ally came over for dinner and to hang out one night. It was a night that both Jason and Nate had to work. We are going to try and find more nights they both work and get together on those nights. It was a nice break for both of us from being only with kids all day and the kids enjoyed one another too!

Ally and HK had matching shirts. HK thought this was pretty cool!

When we were taking HK and Ally's picture together, Nolan wanted to hold Ally too. It was pretty funny!

Then they just took turns holding Ally for several minutes until they started wanting to woller her.

First Snow

Mid-December we had our first snow on a Sunday.

HK was sooooo excited. We had Sunday dinner at our house that week. So HK was begging to go out and play in the snow. Nate had gone to a friend's house to watch the Bears game after dinner. So I told HK she had to play by herself if she wanted to go out.

We got her all bundled up.

She didn't care at all that she was by herself. She just wanted to be out in the white fluffy stuff.

Then her Grampy went out and pulled her around for a few minutes. It was really cold and windy!!!

She had fun!

Before bundling up she wanted to run out on the deck in her bare feet. I don't think she thought I would say yes...but I did. She ran out real fast barefoot. While turning around she wiped out and was covered in snow. I don't think she'll be asking to do that again anytime soon!

Christmas With The Oldhams

We did Christmas with the Oldhams in two parts.

The weekend of the 18th Noah, Heather, and Allie were here for Christmas. This was their year to be in Florida on Christmas. Uncle Nick and Aunt Terrah were also there.

We had breakfast at Papa and Grandma Cathe's, opened gifts, and played. It was a lot of fun!

Then on Christmas Eve morning we went back to Papa's again. Uncle Nick and Aunt Terrah were also there again. Once again we had a great morning.

Nolan got a basketball goal that hangs on the door. If you notice on the box it says age 8+...but Papa's reasoning was that he wanted the lights that go off when you make a basket to motivate Nolan to want to shoot the ball. He did enjoy watching the lights go off when he made a basket. I'm not sure if this gift was for the little boy or the big boys?

Then HK got a cheerleading outfit. They wanted to make sure it fit first before getting an Eagle embroidered on the top. While we speak, it's at the shop getting the Eldorado Eagle on the top. She assigned everyone jobs...she was the cheerleader, Papa was the coach, and the boys were the basketball players.

After we did an all boy picture, HK insisted that we needed a girls picture!

Little did Uncle Nick know at this time...but being silly with little girls headbands and bows has only just begun for him!

We passed out the presents and then had to go around one by one to open them. You only get to open one present when it is your turn. This was quite a lesson for Nolan, but he did pretty good!
