Six Month Photos

So here are the rest of Liam's 6 month photos...

We love you big guy! So thankful for you and the sweet, sweet boy that you are!

The Doting Big Brother

Nolan has really started doting on Liam lately. Liam has really started interacting more in general and I think Nolan likes it.
One morning before HK got up and while I was getting ready, Nolan was playing with Liam in his seat. It was really pretty sweet the way he was talking (in Nolan talk that is) to him.

Here is your eye...

Look at the turtle...
Open up for your paci....

That's Nolan's favorite thing to do for his brother...give him his paci. If Liam fusses or cries for very long Nolan will say "paci" and give it to him or ask you to do it if he can't for some reason.

Before Nolan out grew his shirt (and Liam for that matter), I had to get a picture of the brothers in their matching flannels. Funny thing is that Kristin gave Nolan his for his birthday and Uncle Kent and Aunt Melissa gave Liam his for Christmas.
Nolan loves to hold Liam. Not sure the feeling is mutual?!?!

This is how you talk Brother!

Nolan: I am watching you Brother! I said this is how you do it.
Liam: Mommy get me away from this one!

Nolan's "cheese" is a bit more cooperative once again.

Of course you can't forget Big Sister. She was quite upset that the boys matched and she didn't!

Spring Was Here

Spring was here and technically it is here, but we have cooled off again. Hopefully not for long.

The kids have LOVED being out in the backyard on those spring days!

However one day Nolan got in trouble and was not allowed to play outside with Hallie Kate.
You would've thought his world had ended.
Look how upset he is because she is out and he is in.
HK was a bit upset at first because he was so upset and she was having to play by herself. I had to explain to her the situation and that she needed to play outside so the punishment would be effective for Nolan. She finally got with the program and played outside for a good half hour while Nolan stood at the door devastated!

There is always tomorrow...and it was beautiful too. He got to go out this time.
This particular day HK kept sending Nolan back in the house asking me for things. She wanted a snack, then a drink, and several other things. Nolan would just march right in and tell me or take me out to HK. I finally told HK that the next time she wanted something that she could come in and ask for it. She replied, "But he is my little brother and he LOVES to do it for me."

Well Sister...for now that is true. Cherish it!

Out came the tunnels...

You can see HK's arm...they are both in their own tunnels.

They love to stand up in them.

I am so thankful for a wonderful back yard (with a fence!!!!) and beautiful spring days! We are looking forward to some more days like these!

Happy 1/2 Year Liam!

Half a year...6 months...You have been with us that long!
You are growing by leaps and bounds in size and sweetness!
I could just scoop that little bundle up and squeeze and snuggle!
Thanks Sarah for some more amazing pictures!! We can't wait to see them all!
Love you Buddy!

Some shots from your 6th month...
Just waking up from a nap...chillin' with Momma...watchin' those two crazy kids rumble through their tunnels in the backyard. We have had some beautiful days this past month!

We have not transitioned to formula yet, but sometimes the bottle is just easier...especially when you have Big Sister HK around!

You are doing a good job buddy! Sometimes the chaos at the zoo breaks out all at once and everyone just has to feed themselves! :-)

He can sit up...for a little bit on his own and quite awhile with some assistance. Even just in the past week he has gotten so much better at this! No longer does he bend at the middle and touch his nose to the floor!

"Yeah Mommy...check me out!"

Liam is paying attention to all that is around him very much...that includes his sister and brother. I love watching him beginning to interact with them. He thinks HK is hilarious! Not surprising there. Also...Liam looks alot like HK! If you put a hairbow on him he would look just like HK's 6 month pics! It's pretty crazy!
He is starting to really like sleeping on his side and snuggling with his giraffe.

We are trying to figure out a new bedtime routine that doesn't take all night but still gives everyone some good story snuggling time with at least one of us!

Mommy finally pulled out some toys that are interesting!

You really enjoy sitting up (or trying to) and playing with this ball that lights up and moves. This was originally HK's from Bethany. You all three have loved it!

There you go doooowwwnnn...that darn ball just doesn't stay still.

Face plant....Mommy didn't catch that one in time!

Back up and all is well again! I had HK take our picture because I wasn't sure the last time I had a picture taken with my Little Liam!

Wow my Little Liamator (or mator as we call you sometimes...like "tu-mator" from Cars)....you are half a year old! It seems like last week that I was waddling around in the scorching heat. Now you are this adorable, squeezable, happy little thing that is sitting up and starting to find your place in our family.
You won't stay on your belly at all. I put you there and you roll right over...you are not a fan. You love hanging out in your exersaucer! You especially love watching and interacting with your brother and sister (pulling their hair, etc). You are still the happiest little thing I have ever known! You like to wake up in the middle of the night and have little parties by yourself. Nolan has yet to wake up and join your little jabber fest. It makes me crazy! Unfortunately, we use the pacifier to hush you up so you won't wake up your brother. You are a little stinker! You are already eating stage 2 baby foods. I think we did stage 1 for like a week and it was not satisfying you! It is on my to-do list to attempt making baby food for you. Well...guess I am just going to have to schedule a day for that project if I am going to get it done.
Liam, I feel so blessed that God has given me the responsibility of being your Mother. I look forward to so many sweet memories with you!
Happy Half Year Birthday My Little Man!
