We went to STL the other weekend to celebrate our niece, Allie's 2nd birthday. The party was so fun and exciting (plus keeping track of the 3 kiddos among the excitement) that I forgot to get out my camera. Well it goes without saying that she had a fabulous party! She is such a sweet and fun little girl. I wish I had some pictures from her party, but I don't. They had a bounce house that was a hit with the kids. Allie was hysterical because she kept tackling Nolan. At first he wasn't sure what to think about it. He eventually did start wrestling back. Those Oldham kids are all crazy!

We stopped in Target on our way to the party. So needless to say we missed afternoon nap.
HK was scratching Nolan's head and arms. He literally would've fallen asleep had we been in the store five more minutes.
It was hilarious! He was so relaxed. His legs and arms were just dangling.
Also, I think all stores should have to have carts like Target's big carts!!! Their big carts are amazing!
The place for the two big kids faces the cart. Then there are actually leg holes in the front part of the cart seat (Walmart's do not have leg holes). So the older two face the youngest. Therefore Liam is totally entertained by HK & Nolan. HK & Nolan entertain one another. We could've stayed in Target for hours. Other stores are obviously not thinking of the increases in merchandise that would be purchased by parents with cooperating children! The down side is that most people need a license to push them around a store!

Tried to get all 3 kids to sit up there...but of course in his new personality transformation Nolan was uncooperative.
Breakfast in bed...mmmm milk and cheerios.
Nothing like some hotel excitement and wrestling match on a king size bed to calm you down to all 5 go to sleep in a small square room. I really shouldn't be complaining...that's some people's reality except not that clean and not a king size bed and two baby beds. It was an adventure to say the least.
Sunday morning we set off for the zoo, and we had a wonderful time!
We actually got to visit the penguins this time.
We gave the kids the choice of the train or the carousal. As you can see, they chose the train (and I was glad...carousals make me nauseous).
It was a great way to see the zoo. Very relaxing and enjoyable!
Nolan waited and waited to see the lion and tiger. That was what he wanted to see.
The last stop was the elephants...a must see at the zoo.
After the zoo, we went back to Uncle Noah and Aunt Heather's house to hang out for awhile. We wanted to stay and worship with them at August Gate. We love going there when we are in town. After church that evening, we set out for home.
It was fun to get away and also get to see some family!
