Babies Are For Snuggling

Snuggling a tiny baby is one of the greatest feelings! Baby Liam has had lots of snuggle time over the past several days, and I haven't even remembered to take a picture of all of our visitors! I will have to admit I have enjoyed a handful of his cat naps while laying on my chest. I have to enjoy these while I can!

Liam got his first bottle the other night....HK helped Daddy for about 10 seconds and she was good. He took it like a champ! Mommy always likes to make sure her babies can take a bottle well for when she needs to get away! Plus it's also nice bonding time for Daddy and others!

Liam Goes Home!

The morning you go home is always the quiet morning...time when Daddy finally gets some good snuggle time with the baby.

Liam slept alllll the way home. It was definitely our longest drive to get home...more than 5 minutes like the other two.

HK, Nolan, & Nana were there to greet us.

And this is why the rule is that Liam cannot be left alone in a room with either of the other two. Nolan has no idea what it means that Liam is fragile!

Home on Wednesday and all survived even with a very rough first night!

Hospital Visitors

Our 48 hour stay was filled with lots of family and friends visiting! I think we got everyone's picture except Karen Parks. I took it with my phone (to send to Kristin) and have since then gotten a new phone. I have yet to play with the camera part of the phone.

Nana & Grampy took HK & Nolan home to Eldorado Monday evening. Then Tuesday afternoon they came back and stayed the night in Evansville. HK had a dr. appt Wednesday morning (and they gave her arm the go ahead for freedom...no more splint).

Nolan: Nana his face dirty. I needs to cween it.

Nana: Nolan, no. He doesn't need that.
Nolan: I says its dirty and I cweeeeeen it!

So this is the traditional picture that Nana has captured at all of our hospital stays...me in the chair and Nate in the bed. The funniest one is when HK was born...Nate was asleep in the bed, and I was sitting up in the chair.

Tuesday morning Brooke & Kade came to visit while the older two boys were at Mother's Morning Out. I forgot to get Brooke's picture holding Liam, but I did get some of Kade. I couldn't believe how much he had grown since we had last seen him. Kade & Liam are the same distance apart in age as HK & Kellen. So Kade is my inspiration that these next 10 weeks are going to fly!
Sherry, from our small group in Evansville, and her daughter Audrey came by. Audrey is going to be a big sister in March. So she got some early practice in. I think she is going to be a wonderful big sister!

My friend Natalie Andrews stopped by. She said we were in the same room she was when Kayden was born. That's crazy!

Our time there was blessed with visits from all of these special people.

They had to kick me out of the hospital Wednesday. I didn't want to leave all of those wonderful nurses always wanting to know what I needed or what they could do for me. I wanted to bring one home with me!
